Events 2017

Brief Summary

For ICAS:MP, its second full year of operation has again been quite an eventful one. The Centre is currently in transition from its three-year pre-phase (July 2015 – June 2018) to its main phase (July 2018 onwards).

Again, many of the Thematic Modules (TMs) have/will conduct(ed) a series of International and Internal Workshops. Most of them have been hosted by ICAS:MP’s partner institutes in Delhi (IEG and CSDS). In contrast to the first two years, some events scheduled for summer 2017 have also been hosted at the German partner universities, at the Universities of Wuerzburg and Erfurt. One major event was the Inaugural Conference held on October 9/10 in Berlin, with partners from two sister ICASes set up by the BMBF in Latin America (Sao Paulo and Mexico).

In addition, a new set of fellows have joined, and Pilot Projects have been carried out.
