This module, already functioning since 2013 and funded separately by the Max Weber Foundation as a Transnational Research Group ‘Poverty Reduction and Policy for the Poor between State and Private Actors: Education Policy in India since the Nineteenth Century’, examines education as a field for the articulation of ‘the political’ and specifically of the politics of poverty. It will contribute to ICAS:MP by serving as a laboratory and model for the structure of transnational research cooperation.
